step 1.
step 2.
step 3.
step 4.
step 5.
pose
He posed for the photograph.
oppose
He opposed their plan to increase the budget.
suppose
What do you suppose he will do?
impose
Don't impose your opinion on me.
expose
Don't expose your skin to the sun for too long.
compose
The committee is composed of ten members.
propose
Sunnny proposed a plan but is was opposed by others.
dispose
Be careful when you dispose of broken glass.
repose
I will repose under that tree.
depose
The king was deposed by the revolution.
interpose
The father interposed in the dispute of the brothers.
superpose
He used one hand to superpose the other.
pose oppose suppose impose expose compose
propose dispose repose depose interpose superpose
pose oppose suppose impose expose compose
propose dispose repose depose interpose superpose

Google tools bar

Justice: What's The Right Thing To Do? with Michael Sandel
http://forum-network.org/lecture/moral-side-murder-case-cannibalism
The Moral Side of Murder / The Case for Cannibalism
September 13, 2009
Michael Sandel professor, philosophy, Harvard
Lecture One: "The Moral Side of Murder"
If you had to choose between killing one person or five, what would you do? What's the right thing to do? Professor Michael Sandel launches into his lecture series by presenting students with a hypothetical scenario that has the majority of students voting for killing one person in order to save the lives of five others. But then Sandel presents three similar moral conundrums -- each one artfully designed to make the decision increasingly complex. As students stand up to defend their conflicting choices, Sandel's point is made. The assumptions behind our moral reasoning are often contradictory, and the question of what is right and what is wrong is not always black and white.
Lecture Two: "The Case for Cannibalism"
Sandel introduces the principles of Utilitarian philosopher, Jeremy Bentham, with a famous 19th century law case involving a shipwrecked crew of four. After 19 days lost at sea, the captain decides to kill the cabin boy, the weakest amongst them, so they can feed on his blood and body to survive. The case leads to a debate among students about the moral validity of the Utilitarian theory of maximizing overall happiness -- often summed up with the slogan "the greatest good for the greatest number".

YouTube Captions and Subtitles
http://youtube-global.blogspot.com/2008/08/new-captions-feature-for-videos.html
Here at YouTube, we're always trying to find new ways to enrich your viewing experience and to help video creators reach a wider audience. As part of this goal, we've added a new captioning feature which allows you to give viewers a deeper understanding of your video. Captions can help people who would not otherwise understand the audio track to follow along, especially those who speak other languages or who are deaf and hard of hearing.
You can add captions to one of your videos by uploading a closed caption file using the "Captions and Subtitles" menu on the editing page. To add several captions to a video, simply upload multiple files. If you want to include foreign subtitles in multiple languages, upload a separate file for each language. There are over 120 languages to choose from and you can add any title you want for each caption. If a video includes captions, you can activate them by clicking the menu button located on the bottom right of the video player. Clicking this button will also allow viewers to choose which captions they want to see.
Some of our partners have already started using captions to offer you a better understanding of their videos (even with the audio turned off):
- BBC Worldwide: captions are provided in five different languages on this clip from Top Gear.
- CNET: tech product reviews from CNET's Crave blog.
- UC Berkeley: footage from the Opencast Project Open House.
- MIT: full lectures on subjects like Physics.
- Gonzodoga: English subtitles on this awesome Japanese animation.
We hope captions will serve to tighten the YouTube community by bringing together international users from different cultures.
We're excited to see what kinds of fun and creative uses for captions you'll be coming up with for your videos!

GATCHAMAN, CCU ME 1999 performance
from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCILm6tRblE&feature=related
This video clip documents a part of 1999 chorus competition of undergraduates in Chungcheng Univ., Taiwan. (http://www.ccu.edu.tw/) Performers in this clip were then undergraduate students of Mechanical Engineering Dept.
The first song was the anthem of Chungcheng Univ.; the 2nd the localized version of the theme song from Japanese animation series GATCHAMAN
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gatchaman) during its premiere in Taiwan back in the 1980's as it had been. The song has been a piece of remembrance common to kids of those days and even years later (due to re-runs).
Performers dressed themselves like protagonists in Gatchaman - with one-use raincoats and motorcycle helmets, cheap but brilliant; the conductor even crazily aped Dr. Kozaburo Nambu, the director of Gatchaman - wearing a laboratory coat.

We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth's climate.
The stakes are high for us and our children. Everyone should take part in the effort, and HOME has been conceived to take a message of mobilization out to every human being.
For this purpose, HOME needs to be free. A patron, the PPR Group, made this possible. EuropaCorp, the distributor, also pledged not to make any profit because Home is a non-profit film.
